TCS60 is a single use product. It should be replaced as directed to ensure its environmental and legally protective functions are performed correctly.
TCS60 has been designed to clean condensate from a compressor system of up to 60cfm (1.7 m3/min) to better than 10ppm oil in water, suitable for discharge to a sewer.
Note: This is generally well below the accepted level, but it is the users responsibility to ensure compliance with local regulations.
Installation:
Fix wall plate vertically on a suitable wall or compressor cabinet. Isolate the compressor and look out for cables and pipes when drilling
Slide the TCS60 onto the plate, with venting flutes at the top
Connect all drain points using 6mm tube. Insert tube into the push fitting in the inlet
Connect 10mm tube into the outlet fitting and feed to drain. Ensure a steady fall from outlet point to drain with no kinks or tight bends
Important: Always use an automatic drain. Set timers to short open periods of one second or less. Never use manual drains which could flood the separator, forcing partially or untreated condensate to be discharged
Replacement:
Ensure condensate drains are switched off
Disconnect inlet and outlet tubes from their quick release fittings
Lift TCS60 from wall plate
Clip on transit lid and insert transit plug into the outlet (both items are supplied with the replacement separator)
Unit is now sealed for transportation to a licensed waste-disposal site
Re-fit the new TCS60 to the existing wall plate and connect as before
